Forsch Family - Macie aka Hailey

This little gal is sold ......  Her new name will be Sadie as her new owner's name is Hailey.  How cute!  I hear she will be wearing lots of pink in her future. Awe... pretty in pink is what she'll be.

HaileyAt 7 weeks is becoming more and more independent.  She is happy to be with her mates and not whine and cry for us when we come to see the pups.  She is not a little baby anymore needing our attention.  She is happy and content to play and chew on toys.  This week when we got each pup out one on one with mom, she was so good to submit to Gertie.  She loved playing with mom and as soon as Gertie would put her into a sit position (by biting the back of her leg) she would quickly sit down and stay.  What a good little poky pup.  She has also become more aware of potty time outside.  She will go to the glass door and paw at it to go outside.  I'm so proud of her.  Here she is giving High - Five!  Okay maybe she hasn't learned that yet, but I'm sure she will.
Sharing her kennel with her mates.  She is on the far left, Picaboo in the middle and Burley on the right.
Okay I just had to use Mayzie's blanket for photos this week.  I love it!
Just one photo looking at the camera, ....Please!  She was too excited to see all the puppies on the ground wondering why they couldn't be up there with her.

HaileyAt 6 weeks her little flat coat has become longer and wave are forming. I often look at her and think she is Driggs because they are both getting shaggy and dark in color.  Mayzie is one of the first pups to greet me at the kennel gate in the morning.  She loves to explore the backyard and climb on the piles of snow.  When I call her over to me with smooch sounds, she comes running to see what I want.  She loves to be packed around the house under my arm and when I put her down, she’ll follow me all over the house.  She is a sweat heart.  Today she got to play one on one with mom.  Gertie enjoyed playing with her poky pup and Mayzie was very good to submit to her.

HAILEYAt 5 weeks appears to have taller legs like her mama Gertie.  She looks like a little seal here.  I wish her cute little whiskers showed up in the photo.  Her color has remained dark.  Time will tell if she ends up getting darker.  She has a playful personality that began to really shine this week.  She is not afraid to go looking for someone to play with but when she is tired she'll retreat to a quiet corner of the kennel to snooze.

HAILEY- At 4 weeks she will be flat coated much like mom. She is still dark and such a sweet girl. She was the first to start chewing on a ball. Sure enough her back molars are in. She has found her little bark and will greet me once in awhile with it. She didn't squawk once when getting a bath but you could tell it wasn't her favorite activity.
HAILEY- At 3 weeks she Hailey has not developed any curls, she will have a flat wavy coat like her mama. She is so sweet and docile just like her litter mates. She is most content laying around and sleeping and often looks for the quiet place to rest when her mates start to chew on her ears, she just gets up and walks away. She knows how to get away from those pesky boys.

HAILEY- At 2 weeks she is still dark red and very sweet. She goes limp when you pick her up and one of the easiest to photograph. She loves to be held and isn't bothered when her mates dog pile on top of her. She seems very mellow and content to eat, sleep and be merry. I can't wait to see her personality come through in the next week.
HAILEY- She is the other darkest red girl at a week old. Her hair appears to be slick. Only time will tell if waves develop. She also has a white star shaped patch with five points on her chest. So cute, just like mom and dad.
